Note on the membership fees of Photonics BW e.V. and the tax savings through non-profit status
The non-profit registered association Photonics BW e.V. exclusively and directly promotes the non-profit purpose of “promoting science and research”. Photonics BW e.V. fulfills charitable purposes in accordance with Section 5 Paragraph 1 No. 9 KStG and is exempt from tax within the meaning of Sections 51 ff. AO. According to the exemption notice, Photonics BW e.V. is therefore entitled to issue donation receipts (donation receipts) for membership fees and donations using the officially prescribed form (Section 50 Paragraph 1 EStDV). These donation confirmations can be claimed for tax purposes and can result in savings in corporation tax and trade tax.

Strengthen strengths thanks to your monetary donation
With the aim of “strengthening strengths” Photonics BW e.V. was founded in July 2000 to promote optical technologies in Baden-Württemberg. As a non-profit organization, Photonics BW is entitled to issue donation receipts that you can claim as tax deductible. Donations from companies, institutions, foundations and private individuals support our work, for example in promoting young talent, public relations or technology transfer.
