Help shape our network work

Individual Matchmaking and Initiation of Cooperation

We offer a wide range of services:

  • Individual contacts for a huge variety of problems and solutions
  • Working groups with experts from industry and research on a wide range of topics
  • 1:1 Matchmakings
  • Cross-Cluster Events, such as "Quantum Technologies and Photonics meet Automotive"
  • Delegation trips, so-called "Matching Missions", as part of our EU project "PhotonQBoost" to Austria, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Lithuania and Poland

Technology Transfer

Technology transfer includes platforms for personal exchange, further qualification and knowledge transfer. The most important instrument for technology transfer are the working groups with experts from industry, science and academia.

Working Groups

Experts from industry and science meet regularly to exchange experiences and discuss current topics.

Women in Photonics

Photonics BW has its own networking offer for women in photonics: the “Women in Photonics” network. In addition to current specialist topics in photonics, the focus is on the personal exchange of experiences and the promotion of young STEM talent for the photonics industry. Through regular network meetings, women should be actively involved in our network and become visible as encouraging role models for interested women and girls. New participants are very welcome!
